INTERIOR: House lights are down. A woman, tall, african-american, twenty-something, walks in and stands center stage. She blends in with the props, almost transparent. Then the house lights rise – a bit – and what purports to be a north carolina set is juxtaposed with a Brooklyn brownstone, a Lower East Side tenement building and an off-off Broadway theater house. She is new here, redefined here, home here. INT. Off-Off BROADWAY DAY OMARIA PRATT I’m a southern transplant, former actress, forever writer. I am Omaria Pratt.
