Then and, oh wow, now.

Then, he was just too interesting even without knowing the meaning behind his literary accoutrements. Our conversation was an indubitably inspiring one. And, it was unthinkable of me not to document it for myself, for him and for smdlr’s independent cultural revolution.

Now, here is, again, living – as he told me then in L.A. – in my city of New York. Look at us now.
